''Eon Altar'' uses very traditional RPG mechanics with a distinctly unique twist, your interactions with the game are controlled entirely by a mobile device. While it does allow for very smooth control within the turn-based combat and omni-directional movement, that particular aspect really shines when coupled with Eon Altar's focus on character and roleplay. Each character has their own personalities and also their own reasons to be involved in the main quest, which often doesn't line up with your allies. Throughout the game you will receive various private messages about what your character thinks of the situation and what they should be aiming to do and its up to you to try and convince your real group of friends to do so. While the combat is very fun and very well balanced, it's this aspect of the game which truly sets it apart. [[Category:Articles]]
